Phenomena that are driven by changes in the electronic states often involve dynamics over several orders of magnitude in time. The key to understand such processes is to use experimental schemes that can provide sufficient information to decipher the evolution of electronic and atomic structures. We use THz time domain spectroscopy for investigating time-resolved phenomena in varieties of ''quantum matter'' across condensed matter systems. Several variations of this technique are employed in our lab: (i) 2D THz spectroscopy, (ii) Optical pump-THz/optical probe spectroscopy.

These unique combinations of complementary methods allows us for investigating a broad range of phenomena surrounding the correlation dynamics:

Quantum criticality in heavy-fermion systems.
Phase transitions in correlated materials.
Ultrafast magnetization dynamics.
Optical characterization of materials.
